Privacy policy
Effective 19 July 2026
New in 5 is designed to work without an account and without collecting personal information.
Information we collect
New in 5 does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking technologies or third-party advertising SDKs.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your saved lessons and which lessons you have seen in local device storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Removing the app or clearing its website data may remove this information.
External links
Lessons link to named sources and to GitHub for support or fact-check reports. These services are outside New in 5 and may process information under their own privacy policies when you choose to visit them.
Children’s privacy
The app is suitable for a broad audience, including families, but does not ask children or adults for names, email addresses, dates of birth, precise location or other personal information.
Your choices
You can remove locally stored saved and seen lesson data by deleting the app. Because we do not receive this data, there is no server-side account or profile for us to access or delete.
Changes to this policy
If New in 5 later adds accounts, analytics, purchases or another feature that changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before that feature is released.
